The 1E Locust packs only Lasers for its armament, for better overall damage without the risk of ammo explosions. It runs quite a bit hotter than other variants, though, so it works better with hit-and-run attacks.

Fun fact- This mech has more firepower then default loadout of a Spider

If you value your pilots lives, never use a Locust. However if you're forced to use one, this variant has the highest damage output.
