The VND-1AA carries only half the armor of the more common VND-1R, but uses the saved weight to upgrade the engine. The finished design is a very mobile medium 'Mech suitable for skirmishing and 'shoot and scoot' sniping.
Loadouts[ | ]
The mounting points are similar to the VND-1R, however, the VND-1AA has one fewer laser mount on its left arm.
Strategy[ | ]
The VND-1AA gives up 4 tons of payload for a meager 30 km/h gain in speed. If you want payload run the VND-1R. If you want speed, you're better off running a Shadowhawk, Kintaro, or Wolverine that matches the VND-1AA's speed but all carry greater payload.
